Members who were signed in before the previous update could get an error on every page, and signing in again from the same browser did not clear it. This is fixed, though you may be asked to sign in once more.
Explore and genre pages no longer show the same title twice, on the web and in the app, and they keep loading as you scroll instead of stopping early. Search results, including GET /v1/search in the API, no longer repeat a series on a later page.
This release includes security improvements.

Changed
A community post its author withdrew now says so, and you can no longer like your own posts. A profile or collection that cannot be found now shows a clear page with a way back.
The Android app now reopens on the screen you were on if your phone closed it in the background, and layouts are fixed on phones and tablets. On Android 16, the Settings tab no longer scrolls under the clock.
In the developer console, your live API keys now come first, with revoked and expired ones behind a toggle. Sign-in and sign-up forms no longer send twice on a quick double tap, emails now fit phone screens, and this release includes security improvements.

Redesigned the home page on the web and in the app, with search and genre shortcuts up top followed by curated sections, plus a Display setting to browse as posters or cards. On the web, title pages let you keep a private 1 to 10 rating that only you see, included in your data export.
Rebuilt the developer pages: the API reference has a page per endpoint with a live Try it on a shared demo key, and every API error now returns a body with an error code. The developer console moved out of Settings into its own section, and a first visit sets up your account and key in one step.
Community posts and bios now appear in your language, labelled as translated, with the original a tap away. Posts can hide spoilers and profiles have a Replies tab. The app gains push notifications and full account settings. Importing lists from Letterboxd has been removed.

Surprise on Explore no longer blames your filters when it comes up empty and none are set. It now says there are no titles to pick from yet.
Screen readers can name the Search and Community pages again, because each page now has a heading for assistive technology.

Changed
Title requests have a single Filters button with request status and a Most wanted sort, and your filters are kept in the page address so you can share them. A request for a title already in the catalog can now be closed as already available.
Replies and @-mentions now send you a notification that names the post and quotes the reply. If you sign in partway through a community action, it carries on afterwards, with a username step first if you have none. Community rules, policies and FAQs are now one Guidelines page.
Reporting a post now requires a reason, and moderation notices about your account link to the decision and how to appeal. Fixed the Filters menu widening the page on phones, Firefox refilling old filter choices, and My List tabs that did not update.
